In the Northwest, our chaplains serve a wide variety of motorsports events including drag racing, boat racing, motorcycle road racing, karting and circle track events.  Our chaplains speak to men’s groups, Pinewood Derby events, or other venues as requested.  We like to set up an information booth at car shows.  We see our function to serve in spreading God’s love into the world wherever we can.  When possible, we conduct a chapel service at the event and offer Bibles, Christian literature, fellowship, and spiritual support where ever possible.

Each year, RFC Northwest has a booth at the Portland
Rod and Custom Show as well as the Portland Roadster Show.
At these shows we get opportunity to visit and share
God’s love with both vendors and visitors.

We have chaplains at various drag strips throughout the Northwest Region. Jets always draw crowds to racing events.

Much of our work is done through conversations with
individuals in the pits.

It is a privilege to attend Jr. Dragster events as well as
events for adults.

Making friends with race teams and being of service to them is our greatest pleasure. A time with God in chapel service prior to the races in an important part of each event.
Here, Chaplain Darin Sims leads in prayer.

Team RFC Northwest Region Director Geoff Lambert serves the Oregon and Washington
Motorcycle Road Racing Association.

Elvon Kauffman introduces 60 middle school students to Hillary Will, who speaks with them about making wise decisions.

Elvon Kauffman interviewed "Race Against Drugs" dignitaries prior to a race at Woodburn Dragstrip.

Martin Schulz III and Martin Schulz IV share driving of the Cornwell Tools, Auto-Tech Collision, Arctic Cat Pro bracket dragster. Thomas Schulz is driving in the lightning catagory of Jr. Dragster for Rick and Peggy Versal.

Martin Schulz III is serving as the RFC Chaplain for Pacific Raceways and Bremerton Raceway.
