Gary Tutle, of Rio Vista, TX, competes with the Southern Drag Boat Association (SDBA) in a Pro Mod boat named “Short Fuse.” Gary, owner of Tutle and Tutle Trucking, truly values Team RFC® and the SDBA Chaplains, Craig and Beverly Garland. Recognizing how the Garlands were covering this multi-state racing series with a dated, high mileage pickup, Gary provided them with a low-mileage, 2011 ¾ ton 4 x 4 pickup—a blessing indeed! |

It was very exciting, humbling and thankful win for the Smith-Fair A/Fuel Team at the NHRA Division 4 race at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas this weekend. Not only was this our first event win, but a win for the “old guys” after quite a thrash resulting from engine damage at the Houston race six weeks ago where we were runner up. I believe the complete process can be summed up by the song sang by the young lady at the Racers For Christ service Palm Sunday morning, “Jesus Take The Wheel”. Not only was the wheel taken during this repair and reassembly process, but literally on Sunday as the winds were very high and it was a battle in itself just to get these high speed cars down the track. All Glory and Honor of this event is to God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without them we would not be doing this venture! - Steven Smith
