Dirt track
Racers For Christ chaplains serve at oval dirt tracks across the country, building trusting relationships and sharing the gospel. We serve at tracks that race sprint cars, midgets, micros, outlaw karts, late models, modifieds, stock cars, and more. We are blessed to have many of our chaplains serving as track chaplains at many local tracks as well as providing chaplains to several national touring series.
We are also privileged to serve at two of the biggest indoor dirt oval races in the country – The Tulsa Shootout and the Chili Bowl Nationals.
Chaplain duties include praying at driver’s meetings and opening ceremony invocations, post-crash check ups, hospital visitation calls, as well as provide spiritual and emotional support to teams, staff and fans throughout the year.
The need is great in these areas. If you love racing, love people and love the Lord, consider joining RFC as a chaplain or assistant
High Limit Sprint Car Series
Chaplain Lori Cutter
Chaplain Lori Cutter is our Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing Series Chaplain.
Lori joined Racers For Christ in May 2023 and has since made a full-season, on-the-road commitment to serving the High Limit Racing Series. Traveling alongside her husband, Charlie—the High Limit Racing Paramedic—she provides consistent chaplain support throughout the season, meeting both spiritual and practical needs while sharing the love of Jesus. Lori ministers to staff, race teams, and their families, prays at drivers’ meetings and FloRacing invocations, and conducts post-crash checkups during race events.
In 2025, that commitment meant thousands of miles on the road over eight months of racing, including international travel to Perth, Western Australia, to serve at the High Limit Racing year-end event.
“We at High Limit Racing are thrilled to have Lori as our full-time RFC chaplain in 2026,” said Brad Sweet, series co-founder. “We appreciate the support and commitment to serve all the traveling team members through the long, grueling season. Lori is certainly a great ambassador and a positive light we are fortunate to have at every High Limit Racing event.”
In her role as series chaplain, Lori will also coordinate schedules for additional RFC chaplains and track-specific chaplains, ensuring consistent chaplain coverage and care across the U.S. throughout the series.
“I was raised in dirt track racing in Arizona,” Cutter says. “Over the years, I’ve served in many roles—accredited journalist for National Speed Sport News, crew member, and in various marketing positions. I always knew the Lord placed me in this sport for a purpose. Years of preparation brought me here, and I’m grateful to care for everyone in High Limit Racing. I’m especially thankful that Charlie and I can travel and serve together, combining our gifts to bless the series.”
On off weekends, Lori continues to serve at events such as the Chili Bowl Nationals, Knoxville Raceway, and other dirt-track races across the U.S.
“I’m deeply grateful to the donors who support our ministry,” she adds. “Through the faithfulness of prayer partners and contributors, we are able to say yes to the Lord and live life at full throttle on the road.”
