Not A "Loser"
We have
all heard the word "LOSER." It usually refers to someone who is defeated or
"misplaced".
Have you felt that
way? Have you ever felt you are a loser and cannot see how anyone, let alone
God, desire for you to have any responsibilities? Think of Moses, and how he
struggled with God over his lack of confidence and instability. After all,
he spent 40 years in isolation—hiding, lonely, forgotten, and living in
the wilderness. Five times he refused God and refused to believe his
importance and ability in leadership.
Then we have an
understanding of how God takes this broken soul and chooses Moses to lead His
people out of Egypt. Moses tried his best to convince the Lord he was not the
person who could do this job.
We too have been in
this position. We have that "under-qualified" feeling that we are not the
person for the job. How many blessings have you missed by turning those
little things down?
Take that lost
person you talk with daily; do you have that lump in your throat and are
afraid you will not have the correct words to say? (Exodus 3-4) "I will
lead you. I will empower you. I know you Moses (your name), I AM that I AM, I
Am God!"
The Lord is alive
and He is alive IN me and IN you. That makes me something very, very
special. "I can't do it Lord," should never pass our lips without this phrase
added on-"but I know that You can!"
Thanks for the
scriptures that teach our need for total dependence upon Him. WE ARE NOT
LOSERS...NO, WE ARE VICTORS IN HIM!
