Putting “Spring” into Your Life

The warmth of the sun, the newness of plant life and a fresh outlook on life can all be a part of the spring season. Just like winter can wear old in time, our lives can lose their true meaning.

We spend so much time trying to find meaning and reason in this society only to find that success often seems hollow. We retire from the career at which we worked so hard to succeed, or what we purchased new soon becomes old and worn.

Could the problem be what we center our life’s purpose on? How often do we ask God to help us succeed at our dreams and wishes? When is the last time we asked Him what He wanted us to pursue and how to do it? Could it be He has things for us to do that will give us more fulfillment than we could imagine in our wildest dreams? I would suggest you consider making Jesus your guide and center of your life, instead of using Him only as an insurance policy.

I have taken rusty, useless, and obsolete old farm tractors and turned them into shiny jewels ready to go to farm equipment shows. God would love to breathe new meaning into your life if you will just give Him the opportunity. What a joy is that transformation if you haven’t already experienced it!  Do you need to refresh your relationship with your Creator?

My experience has been that the best way to prevent boredom and disappointment is to follow Jesus! There are difficult times He will get us through, but don’t pass up the chance to put the top down and enjoy the warmth of spring blowing through your hair. Always make the most of each mile on this road of life!
