A Walk In The Garden

Do you use your time wisely? Lost time is NEVER restored. Double up-my testimony.

I am so busy!!! It is the Christmas season; I work part-time, I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a grandma, I have 2 dogs and I NEED to pray! But God...I am so busy!!!

Anyway, never tell a Labrador retriever (or any dog) that you will take them for a walk and not mean it. Dogs do not forget. They will follow you, pester you, watch everything you do, see what shoes you are putting on, and get very excited when you go near their leash or the door. They will wait and watch for you to be true to your promise.

Well, one day God showed me that He talked with Adam "as He walked in the garden, in the cool of the day."  The Lord wants to communicate with me. I need to pray and just talk with Him. He will accept me anyway He can get me.

Isn't God hilarious? He has given me a love for Him and a love for dogs: I need to pray...the dogs need to walk. Duh, this is not a hard concept. It is time for me to get my "praying-walking" shoes on. My Lord is waiting and I have two furry babies watching every move I make.

Double-up! I can hardly wait to walk my dogs. They have learned that thanksgiving and praise start our excursions followed by worship, prayer, and supplication. Does anyone remember the hymn "He walks with me and He talks with me?"

By the way, God is dog spelled backwards! God is good!
