WEB OF LIFE
Several
days ago I watched a spider spin his web just on the upper corner of my
outside office window. He spun his web in a blue-printed architectural way
with each string in its correct place. Several days I observed this little
creature carefully designing his path of destruction. The object of course
was to capture his victim and spin it into a later day meal. An example of
nature in its own gross way of survival.
It
dawned on me that we too can fall into traps (life's own webs). If we are
not careful and wise about the path we take we could easily fall victim and
be devoured by the adversary.
Life
has its own set of webs placed in a fashion for us all to fall to
temptations. Each web may be a sin in our life and we too may be stuck there
until death. We may become so entangled; we struggle to get away but keep
falling deeper into our own web.
A bit
of RAID spray took care of the little demon outside of my window. You see, I
was able to eliminate the problem with a little spray. But my sins need a
whole lot more than spray to eliminate the webs that have formed over my weak
body. It took the blood of Jesus to wash me clean. Now I have complete
freedom and a refreshing new way of living. Thank you, Jesus, for rescuing
me from the pits of destruction.
