Potholes on the Road of Life
As we travel down this
road of life, the size of the pot hole we hit may not seem as
important as the fact that we hit one! A case in point; we talk
regularly with folks dealing with serious life changing problems. But a
couple of weeks ago I was almost stopped in my tracks. What stopped me
was small and temporary in the whole scheme of things. Looking back it
seems insignificant, but at the time it put everything on hold.
Fortunately for me, when the dentist removed the problem tooth, things
began to return to normal.
Big problems are not so
easily taken care of and have longer lasting affects. The good thing is
God is always here to help us through no matter what the challenge may
be. We should always strive to be like Jesus and reach out to each
other as well. Little things make a big difference in helping someone
through a pot hole in the road, regardless of the size. Your act of
kindness could be the answer to someone’s prayer.
If you are going through
tough times ask God, a friend, or us here at RFC for help. If things
are great, thank God for His blessings – we love to hear praise
reports! Remember, enjoy every sunny day because we never know when it
may rain.
