If I were to make a list
Of what is "really important" to me,
The list would really be quite short
I can only think of three.
God would have to be the first,
He created you and me.
My family would be second,
They are very important to me.
I always have to think of them,
They mean so much to me.
My friends would have to be the third,
They also mean so much to me.
By the grace of GOD and my family,
And support from all my friends,
My time on earth will mean something,
and not only just to me.

(In a departure from Team RFC’s normal practice of providing weekly web devotionals penned by staff members, we share this thought-provoking poem written by a friend of this ministry—Tim Lowrie. Tim, a Vietnam veteran and a believer since 1961, rededicated his life to Christ a few years ago and was re-baptized last year.
In addition to enjoying his local church fellowship and home Bible study group, Tim looks forward to participating in Racers For Christ chapel services and many National and Division NHRA competition events It would be Tim’s hope, as well as Team RFC’s hope, that his poem will stir similar sentiments for your life.).
