Three Random
Thoughts
I
love driving long distances. The miles seem to relax me, the
distractions and challenges seem less important, and often new
perspectives come as the odometer continues to roll.
Sometimes I’m thinking about the job, sometimes my social life (or lack
thereof), often about my vehicles, and yes…sometimes about the Lord.
Here are three musings written on a scrap of paper while rolling down
the Interstate:
- Jesus did
not come to earth to make bad people good; He came to make dead
people alive!
- Satan
wants us to look back and see our mistakes; God wants us to look
forward to His promises for our lives. Satan wants us to fester on
all that we don’t have; God wants us to recognize and be grateful for
what we do have. These are our choices to make.
- Satan has
been referred to as “The Great Deceiver.” Not only do
I agree with that, I think that he does a great job at it. So great
that he has deceived himself into thinking that he’ll ultimately
win. But I know the end of the story and he doesn’t!!!
