We have assurance of God's blessings every day as we listen to Christ and do what His Word tells us. We can go through this year with Romans 8:1 as our guide: "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
That verse could also be stated as those “who walk not after the past, but after Jesus in the now.” The Spirit is always now. Faith is always now. God loves us now. So we don't have to drag the past with us all the time. Instead, we know that no matter what has happened, we can't keep God from loving us or His compassions to fail. (Lamentations 3:22).
He always loves us and He's always there for us. His love flushes out fear. (1 John 4:18) That's why we can do as Jesus said and not think about what we're going to eat, drink or wear--not worry about natural things.
Instead, we seek first the kingdom of God (God's way of doing and being right) and His righteousness, knowing all the things that we need will be added unto us. Nobody will ever love you like God loves you!! He is the best friend and Father you will ever have. God loves you with His whole heart and He will listen when you call upon Him. When you seek Him with your whole heart, He promises you'll find Him. No matter what is happening in your life, God is available, and today I want to tell you this: He wants you to keep pulling on your Faith!!
Remember that God "calleth those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). He wants you to do the same thing. So, don't give up on your Promise, your blessing, your loved ones or the secret Dream of your Heart.
