The Most Important Qualifying Session

Although Team RFC tries to accomplish many things, we are really all working for a single purpose, and this is it: “OUR PURPOSE AS CHAPLAINS WITH RFC SHOULD ALWAYS BE THAT MORE PEOPLE WILL WALK THE STREETS OF HEAVEN BECAUSE WE LET GOD WORK THROUGH US.” 

If there is any way we can help you with a car race, BMX Race, Go-Kart race, slot car race, boat race, tractor pulls, car show, swap meet, cruise-in, rod run, motorcycle race, or whatever, feel free to go to www.teamrfc.org and under contacts you can look up who might be near you. There is also plenty of other good stuff there too, like devotionals, pictures, and more.

I am currently going through the 40 Days of Purpose study group, which is based on the best selling book “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren.  I would encourage you to read this book, and I would strongly encourage you to join a study group in your area as this series has some excellent teachings. 

One analogy that I thought would be good to share is this:  Just as our time in the womb was preparing us for life on earth, our life on earth is preparing us for our afterlife.  This reinforces the idea that things here will not always be perfect, and we may not always be completely satisfied in this life, but this is just a preparation for our eternity.  To put it in terms for this audience, this life is like qualifying before the big race.  The good news is you don’t have to have the #1 spot to get in, but the challenge is there’s only one qualifying session, and it can end at any time.
